What is love?. Different people have different meaning for this word. But one thing is common in all kind of the definitions and that is we sacrifice our own self for whom we love. Love is one of the most important factor of the human life. We always in search of true love. We always praise the person to whom we love and did not want to listen a single word against him or her. We love our parents, wife, children, girl friend, brothers, sisters and also on the other side we love our country, religion, sect and god or goddess.
It does not mean that our love is split between these things. Love for different things have different meanings but this love become miserable when we love something as we love God. The love for God become weaker and the love for the things increased. We love our parents so much and forgot the Allah, We love our wife so much that we can do every thing which is forbid by our Lord, We love our children so much that we can earn the money by hook or by crooks without thinking what Allah says, We love our friends that we forgot to pray the prayers and in this way we abandon the love of Allah.
This is a few examples which show our love and affection to the other things besides Allah, Allah pointed out our this disease in the Holy Quran in the following words.
"And there are some among men who take for themselves objects of worship besides Allah, whom they love as they love Allah, and those who believe are stronger in love for Allah are stronger in love for Allah and O, that those who are unjust had seen, when they see the chastisement, that the power is wholly Allah's and that Allah is severe in requiting (evil)."
(Surah No: 2 & Verse No: 165)
Allah do not need our love,the love of believers are stronger then the unjust. You can start hating the Allah but remember that when you will see the chastisement then to whom you will ask for help. One more thing we love some one but it is not necessary that the people will also love us in return. Why we love those who hated us?. Why we love those who think us hateful?. If we spend our whole life for some one but we can not change the hatefulness of the others. We forgot that who is hatcher but we hatchment of other idols on our heart.
Why we can not produce love for Allah? Because we are unjust and due to this problem we do not have love for one Allah. We forgot that all the powers belongs to one Allah and that Allah is severe in requiting evil powers. Allah is the best requiter for our Love. If we Love Allah then in return He will gave us our love.
