What is Safa and Marwa?. Most of the Muslims are aware of theses terminologies. Safa and Marwa are the two mountains near the sacred House in Makkah. In the center of these two mountains the famous Aab e zam zam situated. The apostle of Hazrat Ibrahim on the order of Allah left their wife and small child Hazrat Ismail between these two mountains. At this time there is nothing at that place no civilization, no water and no necessity of life is there. The wife of Hazrat Ibrahim was running between these two mountains in search of water for her child. She run for seven times between these two mountains. Allah was pleased with them and send His blessing in shape of the water from the toes of the Hazrat Ismail who was child at that time.Allah declared these two mountains as His signs and ordered all the Muslims to visit and run seven times between the two mountains just to remember the doing of Hazrat Hajira.
In the era of idol worship the Quresh installed two idols on these mountains and when Islam came then some people think that the running between the two mountains is also the sign of the Idol worship then Allah declared that the Safa and Marwa are the signs of Allah not the signs of the idols. Allah informed us that the signs of Allah remains sacred for Him and the time will never spread the dust on these signs. If the disbelievers installed their idols in the Sacred House then it does not mean that the Sacred House loose his value and sign.
Kindly read the following verse of the Holy Quran as mentioned below:
"Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously; then surely Allah is Grateful, knowing."
(Surah No: 2 & Verse No: 158)
Allah knows every thing and He know the good thing and bad thing. Allah only like our good spontaneously and want that we will follow the right path. All the signs of Allah are only to guide us and memorized that how Allah blessed His followers and send His blessing on the humans. If we clearly look in to the different kinds of the Islamic prayers then we find that each one of them is in the memory of some follower of Allah who submit his soul in the way of Allah.
If you just think about the each way then you find that the way is difficult for all those who disobey but not for those who obey the orders of Allah.
