"And when Musa prayed for drink for his people, We said: Strike the rock with your staff. So there gushed from it twelve springs; each tribe knew its drinking place: Eat and drink of the provisions of Allah and do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief."
(Para No: 1 & Verse No: 60)
Allah in the above mentioned verse informed us that how much blessing He send on the children of Israel but they did not bow their head in front of Him. This is one of the historic truth that when the Israel's leave the Egypt and they were moving in the desert and at this moment Allah accepted the Musa prayer and gave them a rock in which twelve springs released.
This was a great gift for them when they have nothing to drink, send them Mann or Salva to eat them and send the clouds for shelter. But despite of any thing they just refused to bow their head in front of the One Allah. In my point of view they show the inner thing of the humans. This show that we always deny the blessing of Allah.
First of all we see in our own life what Allah gave us and what we did. Allah in the Holy Quran informed us that if we will try to gave the thanks of Allah then we can't do it. He gave us the food to eat, water to drink, sun for light, parents to take care, children for love, good education, good jobs, wealth and so much things that i can't able to count them . But in spite of all these blessing we always claim that Allah thrown us in trouble, it became our habit to claim for those who were not in our hands and do not think for a moment that what we have in our own hands.
We never pay thanks to Allah on what He gave us, while we always complaint on those things which we do not have. We always have the complaints to Allah. But when Allah took something which He gave us then we realize the pain of loosing that thing. Then we realized the importance of the lost thing. We never gave the importance to the things until we do not have.
At the end i just gave one example " We never care about our health but if we loose our health due to some disease like cancer etc then we just stun and then we start weeping and pray to Allah that He gave us health."
We must analyze our own behavior, these verses of Holy Quran are not for the Israel's only, each verse is for all of us and have a great lesson for thinking.
