"And when We appointed a time of forty nights with Musa, then you took the calf (for a god) after him and you were unjust."
(Para No: 1 & Verse No: 51)
In this verse Allah informed that in spite of all kind of blessing on the Israel's, just in forty days they start worshiping on the calf. This show that how bad they are, this was the worst thing for a nation that sea lot of miracles with their own eye's and just in forty days they select a calf as god.
In this verse of Holy Quran Allah informed us that the man is so selfish and he only wants to follow his own wishes. The great Nabi of Allah Musa itself between them and just for forty days they went to meet Allah and they forgot the one Allah and worship a golden calf. This was the nonsense thing of Israel's ever did in their history. But the main lesson found in this verse is that if people did not want to obey the unseen Allah then no one will force them. If Allah wants that they obey Him then no force will force them but because their heart was full of love of calf so they accept that calf as their god.
