What is the main purpose of the Holy Books?. Why Allah send the books for us on His Prophets ?. Allah informed us about this question in the following verse of Holy Quran:
" And when We gave Musa the Book and the description that you might walk alright."
(Para No: 1 & Verse No: 53)
The basic purpose of any book is to guide the people how they will spend their life, what is the best way of life. Allah informed us in these books how we will please him by following His communication. Allah informed us that what He likes and what He dislikes. But the question remains one that did we really need these books. We all have a belief that books gave us the knowledge, wisdom etc. The children start their life by reading the language books etc.
If we all know that without reading the books we could not be wise, intelligent, intellectual and civilized then how we will think that we do not need a Holy Book from God in which He informed us how He pleased or angry.
This is the fact that most of us read the Holy Quran in our childhood but we did not understand the meaning of the verses of Holy Quran. We just read or recite them but unable to think the meaning of the verses. If you read a book and you do not understand what is the plot, story, script of the book then no one like to read it again and again but it is reversed in the case of Holy Quran.
Million people just recite it on daily basis but they are unable to understand the meaning of these verses. The basic purpose of the Holy Books as mentioned in the above verse that might you will walk alright. If we will not understand the meaning of the verses then how we will walk alright. We must come over our fear that if we understand then we must follow it. This thinking stop all of us especially me to read and understand the Holy Book.
But i want to admit in front of the whole world that as soon as i start to understand the Holy Quran it totally capture me in His magic and i totally indulge in this book. I leave many bad habits and start thinking my wrong deeds. This make me more polite, humble and good. I am not saying i become perfect but i can say that i start walking in the right direction.
